The Frost specialisation is currently marginally better than Unholy.

In AoE situations, the dual-wielding playstyle of Frost has some of the best burst damage in the game. For single-target, the two-handed and dual-wielding playstyles are pretty much even in terms of potential DPS output.

Compared to other classes' specialisations, Frost Death Knights perform very well, being behind only a few other specialisations in terms of DPS.
