![]() General Information
On this page, we explain what the best statistics are for FuryWarriors in World of Warcraft MoP 5.4, how the class benefits fromeach of them, andwhat your reforging strategy should be. We also detail what the various capsare (if any) and why they should be attained. The statistics priority is important as itinfluences reforging strategies as well as itemisation choices(gear, enchants, and gems). Make sure to check our GearOptimisation Guide, which serves as a support guide for thisarticle. The other pages of our Fury Warrior guide can be accessedfrom the table of contents on the right. 1. Basics↑topThe stat priority for a Fury Warrior depends on whether or not you havean amplification trinket. You can use the following stat priorities, butfor optimal results you should find out your own stat weights usingSimulationcraft. 1.1. Without Amplification Trinket
1.2. With Amplification Trinket
2. Getting a Better Understanding↑top2.1. StatisticsHit Rating decreases the chance that your melee attacks will misstheir target (7.5% against a raid boss). Therefore, your goal is to reach the7.5% hit cap (see section below), which will ensure that your attacks nevermiss. When dual-wielding, reaching the 7.5% hit cap will only preventyour special melee attacks (yellow attacks) from missing. Your normal meleeattacks (white attacks) will still miss because, when dual-wielding, theyhave a 26.5% chance to miss by default. As you can see in the priority listabove, Hit Rating remains a decent statistic even after the 7.5% cap. Expertise Rating decreases the chance that your melee attacks willbe dodged (7.5% against a raid boss). Therefore, your goal is to reach the7.5% expertise cap (see section below), which will ensure that your attacksare never dodged. Note that you should always be attacking bosses from behind, which prevents them from parrying your attacks. Therefore, it is usuallyunnecessary (unless the boss cannot be attacked from behind) to decreasethe chance that your attacks will be parried (something that you can do bystacking Expertise Rating after reaching the 7.5% cap). Critical Strike Ratingincreases the uptime of your Strength is your primary statistic. You should look for itin all of your upgrades. It provides you with Attack Power, whichdetermines the damage your abilities do. Mastery Rating, through Haste Rating increases your attack speed. 2.2. Hit CapAt level 90, most races require 2,550 Hit Rating to reach themelee hit cap. Draenei, thanks to 2.3. Expertise CapAt level 90, most races require 2,550 Expertise Rating to reachthe expertise cap. Some races, in some cases, only need 2,210 ExpertiseRating, thanks to passive racial skills:
