Introduction↑topThe brewery has been overrun by strange creatures and Chen Stormstout, who has just arrived on Pandaria from the Wandering Isle, needs you toinvestigate the brewery of his ancestors and find out what happened toit. The dungeon has a linear layout during which you will progress throughfour different zones and encounter three bosses. The dungeon featuresboth Normal (level 85+) and Heroic (level 90) modes. There are nodifferences in mechanics between Normal and Heroic modes. The onlydifferences are increased health and damage done for all bosses and enemies.
This guide will cover all of the three boss encounters, as well as thequests and achievements that are available in the dungeon. 2. Normal Difficulty Loot↑topIn Normal Difficulty, the level of the items you can obtain from theStormstout Brewery is 410. 2.1. Armor2.2. Weapons

The first quest is Family Secrets. It requires you tocollect 5 The second quest is Trouble Brewing. It requires you todefeat Yan-Zhu, the last boss of the dungeon. You need to completeInto the Brewery before being given this quest. The quests reward you with item level 410 gear(see loot section above). 5. Ook-Ook↑topAs you enter the entrance, you will quickly notice a progressionbar that appears on your screen. It counts the number of Hozen youhave killed. The count will increase as you make your way throughthe instance, confronting the party Hozens that overrun thelower level of the brewery. ![]() You will eventually reach the Stormstout Brewhall, where you are tofight Ook-Ook, the Hozen leader. He will only appear after you have filledthe progression bar by killing a total of 40 Hozens. The fight against Ook-Ook is straightforward. There are two thingsthat you need to watch out for. To sum it up, avoid being in front of the boss and run as many barrels asyou possibly can into him. Tanks and healers need to be aware of 5.1. Achievement: Keep Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'To complete 6. Hoptallus↑topAfter defeating Ook-Ook, you will make your way to thefirst outdoor portion of the instance. There, a gauntlet event will leadyou to Hoptallus. 6.1. Gauntlet EventThe gauntlet event starts just as you exit the Stormstout Brewhall, whereyou fought Ook-Ook. It ends when you reach Hoptallus. During the gauntlet, wavesof ads will keep coming at you. They are made of:
The key to this event is to kill the Boppers first, then click on the hammersthat they drop. Each time you do so, you will be granted 3 hammer charges. Thecharges stack, so you can keep clicking hammers and end up with 30 or 40 chargeseasily. When you have charges, you have access to a button in the middle of yourscreen. Clicking the button uses a hammer charge, sending all nearby virmens inthe air, heavily damaging them. Once you have acquired a hammer, the 3 charges it gives you should be enoughto kill a few other Boppers, giving you more charges. As you progress throughthe gauntlet event, you (or someone else in your party) will stack an increasingnumber of hammer charges, making the event increasingly easier. 6.1.1. Achievement: How Did He Get Up There? To complete Gather virmens underneath the Hozen Clinger and use a hammer to send them intheir air. As he gets hit by virmens, he will loosen hisgrip and fall, triggering the achievement. 6.1.2. Achievement: Hopocalypse Now!To complete If you fail to do the achievement during the gauntlet event, you can alwaystry during the fight, by letting Hoptallus summon enough virmens. However,it will be difficult to survive his attacks all the while having to deal withdozens of virmen adds. 6.2. The FightWhen you reach Hoptallus, the gauntlet event will finish and you canengage him. During the fight, Hoptallus will melee the tank a bit and cast 2abilities that you need to avoid.
Hoptallus will periodically call Hoplings, Hoppers, andBoppers for help. They should be dealt with in exactly the sameway as during the gauntlet event. Kill the Boppers first, get hammercharges, and use the charges to kill the rest of the virmens. As theencounter progresses, you will stack more and more charges, allowingfor a very liberal use of the hammer. The only thing to watch out for is that using the hammer to obliteratethe adds is particularly enjoyable, to such an extent that you may losetrack of 7. Yan-Zhu the Uncasked↑topAfter defeating Hoptallus, you will have to fight your way to the topfloor of the brewery by defeating a number of Alementals. 7.1. AlementalsThe abilities used by the Alementals will be reused by Yan-Zhu, the finalboss of the dungeon. All Alementals need to be tanked and will deal meleedamage (in addition to their abilities).
